I was able to purchase it on sale about 6 months ago at a local electronics shack for about half of the regular MSRP. I have had no problems with watching bluray movies until yesterday when GI Joe would not play. I followed the instructions at the sylvania consumer electronics web site to upgrade the player's firmware by burning the software to a CD-R. Once installed on the player, the GI joe bluray played with no problems. Rating: 5 / 5 This Bluray player works well and has a very sharp HD picture.
